This Billy Strayhorn jazz standard was made famous by the great Duke Ellington. It’s not one of those songs that’s overplayed at jam sessions and I like to play it with a more free-flowing 3/4 time feel. I transcribed a nice string arrangement of this tune in college and have loved the song ever since. I really tried to give it a natural and dreamy feeling because of the title.
